Viral Angels makes angel investment accessible to all

Viral-Angels
Viral Angels

Original article: http://www.levelonenetwork.com/markloveday/viral-angels-is-angel-investment-for-everybody/

This week, I received an email from a UK investment company. As all my investments are made through Viral Angels, I didn't take that much notice until, at the foot of the page, I saw a reference to their

So, I had a quick scan and the following stood out. You will have to forgive me if I have been a little selective, but it was rather wordy, and I have omitted nothing of real importance. You can read the full article here

  • The economic challenges of recent years have transformed the business landscape in the UK and across the world. While big businesses have struggled, new, smaller companies have been enjoying major success.
  • But these testing times are also producing new, strong and streamlined business start-ups.. by making their business work in a deep recession they are primed to seize the advantage when the economy improves.
  • In the coming years it is these companies that we’ll be focusing on. They may be small now but they have big plans for growth and will be instrumental in shaping a new and exciting business landscape.
  • Many new companies are looking to crowd funding as a quick way to raise funds for expanding and taking their businesses to the next level. The idea is simple, a company releases an offer for investors to buy into and raise the funds it needs. In return the company secures the investment against an asset until it is repaid.
  • We have received many applications for funding, each of which has gone through careful due diligence and research.
  • Once all of these requirements are assured it is only then that we present the opportunity to our Angel Investment Programme to attract funding.
These are all great reasons why people might be interested in becoming angel investors, or involve themselves in crowd funding. The opportunity for significant returns, or to to find oneself a shareholder in the next Facebook, Google, Microsoft, or Apple is exciting.

However, the last paragraph hit me like a slap in the face

  • In accordance with FSA rules we can only provide details of these opportunities to certified ‘Sophisticated’ or ‘High Net Worth’ investors. If you would like to become certified follow this link.Once your application is confirmed we will add you to our ‘professional investor network’, which allows you to receive notifications of the latest investment opportunities as they are released.

So, to get involved with this program, you already have to be sophisticated and wealthy. I am not sure what is meant by sophisticated, but we all have a notion of what wealthy is. It is having a lot of money. For most people the door has just been firmly slammed shut.

I took a look around the internet, and discovered the following

  • S****s is targeted solely at investors who are sufficiently sophisticated to understand these risks and make their own investment decisions.
  • Venture **** helps readers better understand the mindsets of sophisticated investors...

I guess what this all boils down to is that an angel investor is a wealthy person who is willing to carry out extensive research, before entering into complex financial and legal negotiations, in order to take an interest in a business for the purpose of growing that business, and making a better profit than he or she could make elsewhere.

So, you have accumulated enough money to become an angel investor. Now you are faced with the following statistic.

Out of ten business start-ups, five will fail, three will break even, one will make a profit, and one will make a huge profit.

When asked about angel investing, David S Rose was given the scenario that most angel investors accepted that one third of investments would fail, one third, would break even, and one third would turn a profit.

David S Rose

His response?

"At best! At best! I mean, you are talking of getting one in ten of your investments as a home run, and you are assuming that half will go bankrupt, and wipe out totally"

Faced with this, how does the average person get into angel investment?

The answer lies in the concept of collective investment managed by experienced professionals.

Viral Angels fits this model perfectly. For an affordable monthly subscription, Viral Angels identify companies that hold the promise of future profits, and who have a commitment to full public listing within eighteen months.

Viral Angels help those companies with all the legal, and compliance issues that they will have to undergo before listing. In exchange, Viral Angels members are gifted shares in those companies. This gives value to the members, and provides a shareholder base, without which there would be no liquidity.

As Viral Angels are headed by a management team that has brought over 200 companies to market worldwide, and are now working with an ever increasing number of companies, Viral Angel members are assured that they need neither the sophistication and high net worth, nor to take the risk of limited exposure to any one business.

This makes Viral Angels a winner. You can read more about Viral Angels here. If you decide to join, you will need my reference yadevolkram@fsmail.net.

Viral Angels continues to give great value

Viral Angels, the closed members private equity club, continues to provide huge value to subscribers. For a monthly subscription, Viral Angels members receive a newsletter, and the gifting of free shares in pre-IPO companies. I have already written an extensive blog post about how this works.

The latest addition to the Viral Angels portfolio is IQMoney.

IQMoney is a UK PLC incorporated in June 2011. Its head office is in London, and is preparing for stock market listing, initially on a junior Swedish exchange.

IQMoney combines trading/investment with social media, and the possibility of tracking. Tracking is where novice investors can follow the trades of expert investors in real time. The novice investor retains 85% of the profits, the expert investor receives 10%, and the remaining 5% goes to IQMoney themselves.

This is explained more fully in the video below.

Viral Angels are assisting IQMoney to come to market. In exchange, Viral Angel members receive shares in IQMoney.

I have received 260 shares each valued at 8 Swedish Krona. That is $319, for my subscription of 69 Euros, the equivalent of about $90.

The target listing price is 16 Swedish Krona per share. That makes my $90 subscription worth $638

The video explains why the projection at the end of 2014 is 200 Swedish Krona ($30 approx) per share.

That would make my $90 subscription worth $7 800.

Once again, the video explains this.

I hope that you can see how Viral Angels could benefit anyone who choses to take a subscription. These are the type of deals that will continue to be made available to us.

The good news is that it still not too late to acquire IQMoney shares at the pre-IPO price through Viral Angels. All you have to is join Viral Angels, select either the Gold or Platinum membership (which gives double shares), and enter my reference yadevolkram@fsmail.net when prompted.

The IQMoney shares are available until the end of March 2013. Just remember that the time zone is GMT.

And now, the video that I promised

Viral Angels latest share allocation

Viral Angels continue to provide great value for subscribers. The latest share allocation was made today.

This week I received the following email from Viral Angels.

Dear VA Members,

We're happy to announce a share allocation in our recently published company, IQMoney Plc. IQMoney will announce a crowd funding offer on VA/X in the next few days. To give members some added incentive, IQMoney has agreed to execute a share allocation per the following schedule for members active as per today, Wednesday March 20:

Gold Level members are allocated 130 shares valued at 8 SEK per share.
Platinum Level members are allocated 260 shares valued at 8 SEK per share.
Viral Agents are allocated 1040 shares valued at 8 SEK per share.

In preparation for its upcoming Swedish public listing, the company has chosen to price its shares in Swedish Krona, SEK.
Sincerely yours,
Viral Angels Backoffice

IQMhomepage-platform-devicesoney Plc is a listed UK company aiming to build the world’s largest online community for professional and self-directed investors. IQMoney is developing an online social community in a single integrated environment where investors can chat, blog and learn from each other and make investments on a shared platform.  IQMoney Plc seeks in the short term to be admitted to a liquid European stock exchange market and further to arrange for dual listings on further selected European stock exchange markets during 2013 and 2014.

IQMoney announced this agreement with Viral Angels as a press release on their own site.

The value that Viral Angels provides to its subscribers is truly remarkable, and I was delighted to see that they  continue to research innovative companies who will make use of the Viral Angels subscribers as their own share base prior to market listing.

Viral Angels Presentation

Having been a member of Viral Angels for nine months now, I am impressed with the progress that the concept has made. The management are extremely professional and knowledgeable. Tony Norman and his team have extensive experience in the Viral Angels specialty of small capitalization companies.

Viral Angels mostly deals with companies who have not yet listed on any stock exchange, but who wish to do so. Viral Angels assists these companies with public flotations, and offers the member base as shareholders. A shareholder base is crucial, as without sufficient shareholders, there is no liquidity for the stock.

So, subscribing members receive share allocations in exchange for the service that Viral Angels provides to help those companies towards public listing. When those companies are listed, members can sell those shares, or hold them if they prefer. It is important to note that any company Viral Angels decides to work with must be committed to full public flotation within eighteen months.

Viral Angels will also take an interest in publicly traded companies if they identify it as undervalued or under-utilized. A strong position is taken, giving the strength to set the agenda, and force through business decisions. Once again, shares are distributed to subscribing members.

Here, Tony Norman gives a short presentation for Viral Angels. I hope you find it interesting. If you want more information, send me an email to yadevolkram@gmail.com

Best wishes, Mark
